Account Settings
Account settings control how your dashboard looks, how new sites are configured, and how your team secures access.
Profile and preferences
Your account stores personal preferences such as:
- display theme
- timezone
- product update emails
Timezone matters because reports and schedules are presented in a human-friendly local context.
Authentication
Flock WP supports two-factor authentication for account security.
When 2FA is enabled you can:
- sign in with an authenticator code
- use recovery codes if your device is unavailable
- regenerate recovery codes when needed
For shared dashboards, enabling 2FA may also be required before access becomes active.
Site defaults
Site defaults let you preconfigure behavior for newly connected sites. This is useful when you want consistency across dozens or hundreds of installs.
Defaults can include:
- uptime monitoring preferences
- backup schedule defaults
- backup-on-connect behavior
- commonly used tags
Set these once and apply a consistent operating model to future sites.
Whitelabel settings
Whitelabel settings help agencies present Flock WP in a more client-ready way. Depending on your setup, you can define account branding that carries through client-facing experiences such as reports.
Use whitelabeling when you want:
- agency-branded reporting
- a more polished client delivery experience
- consistent sender identity across communications
Sending domains
Sending domains are used for report delivery. After you add a domain, Flock WP provides the DNS records needed for verification.
A verified sending domain gives you:
- branded sender addresses
- better deliverability for scheduled reports
- cleaner separation between internal and client-facing reporting
Google accounts
Connect Google accounts at the account level, then use them on individual sites for:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
This keeps authorization centralized while allowing site-by-site connections later.
