Adding a Site ​

Prerequisites ​

  • A WordPress site you have admin access to
  • The Flock WP plugin installed on that site (see Plugin Installation)

Connection Flow ​

  1. Add the site — From your Flock WP dashboard, click Add Site and enter your WordPress site URL
  2. Install the plugin — If you haven't already, install the Flock WP plugin on your WordPress site
  3. Handshake — Flock WP and the plugin exchange credentials to establish a secure connection
  4. Initial sync — Once connected, Flock WP pulls your site's current state: installed plugins, themes, WordPress version, and admin users

After Connection ​

Your site will appear on the dashboard with its current status. Flock WP will begin:

  • Tracking plugin and theme versions
  • Monitoring uptime (if enabled)
  • Reporting available updates
