Troubleshooting

Site Not Connecting

  • Verify the Flock WP plugin is installed and activated
  • Check that your site is publicly accessible (not behind HTTP auth or a maintenance page)
  • Ensure your site's REST API is not disabled by a security plugin

Site Showing as Offline

  • The site may be genuinely down — check it directly
  • A firewall or security plugin may be blocking Flock WP's requests
  • Check that the plugin is still activated

Updates Failing

  • Verify the site has sufficient disk space
  • Check file permissions on the WordPress installation
  • Review the site's error log for specific failure messages
